About Jonathan

I am a passionate and experienced flute tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, working with students from school to college level, and I am dedicated to helping them achieve their musical goals.

Music has always been a source of inspiration for me, and the flute, in particular, has allowed me to express myself in a unique and creative way. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach many students, helping them progress from beginners to confident performers.

One of my proudest achievements is seeing my students perform on stage and participate in competitions with confidence and enthusiasm. My teaching style is simple, supportive, and adaptable, focusing on building strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, finger coordination, tone clarity, and rhythm understanding.

I also encourage students to explore their creativity and enjoy the learning process. I believe that every student learns differently, and I make an effort to tailor my lessons to suit their individual needs and pace.

My aim is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated to practice, improve, and develop a lifelong love for music.

About the lesson

I follow a structured teaching methodology based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students learn flute with clarity and confidence. My goal is to make learning both enjoyable and meaningful.

I begin by understanding each student’s strengths and areas for improvement so I can guide them effectively. I motivate students by setting clear goals and appreciating their progress, which helps build their confidence.

Communication helps me explain important techniques like breathing, fingering, posture, and tone production in a simple and clear way. With integrity, I ensure that students learn step by step and develop strong fundamentals.

I provide honest feedback and guide them patiently. Creativity helps me make lessons engaging by including songs, exercises, and interactive activities.

Along with flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm, and ear training to support overall musical growth.
