About Ryan

Ryan Cornall is a Guitar Player, Instructor and Content Creator based in London, UK. Ryan has an extensive background in teaching and a musical career which has taken him across the UK & Europe including graduating from the Academy of Contemporary Music in 2019 where he received his BA (Hons) in Professional Musicianship.

This has allowed him to be fully competent in the art of Music Theory, Musical Composition & Improvisation. With this knowledge, he now passes it to thousands of guitar players across the world using social media on a regular basis, with some videos reaching over 1m views and reaching over 80,000 followers in total across social media platforms. Ryan also has over 10 years experience as a Private Guitar Tutor and runs his own private guitar tuition company called RRC Guitar Academy.

Furthermore, Ryan has also played at some of the UK’s biggest festivals and played with a range of Professional Musicians. Ryan does a vast array of session work for multiple artists and bands based in the UK.

Ryan specialises in a range of different genres such as Rock, Blues, Soul, Pop & Funk. Some of his influences include Gary Moore, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Marty Friedman, Andy Timmons & Guthrie Govan.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is to make the lesson fun, comfortable and provide the utmost enthusiasm in the session.

The key for me, is to identify the students learning approach, whether this be visual or auditory, once this is established I'm able to tailor the lesson to the student. In regards to the content for the lesson, I'm able to teach grades 1 - 8 Rockschool, ABRSM and Trinity.

However, I have students who don't wish to take an exam and just wish to learn their favourite music, I'm also completely happy to take this route. Regardless, whether you are just starting out, or wishing to break the rut, I'm happy to work with you and take your guitar playing to the next level.
