About Erin

As a Piano tutor with more than 9 years of experience, I have had the opportunity to teach students from diverse backgrounds and age groups. I work with school students, college students, and working professionals, helping them achieve their musical goals through personalized instruction.

My teaching approach combines structure, creativity, and practical application. I focus on helping students build a strong foundation in Piano while encouraging confidence and self-expression.

My lessons include piano technique, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills. I use a variety of exercises and musical examples to keep lessons engaging and effective.

Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard techniques and music theory. These subjects help students gain a complete understanding of music and improve their overall performance abilities.

I believe that learning Piano should be both educational and enjoyable. Through patience, encouragement, and consistent support, I help students make steady progress and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is designed to make piano learning simple, enjoyable, and effective. Using communication, creativity, flexibility, and patience, I help students develop strong musical foundations while encouraging independent learning and self-confidence.

Lessons begin with posture, finger exercises, note reading, rhythm, and music theory. As students become more confident, they learn scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, expressive techniques, pedal control, sight reading, and performance skills through practical instruction.

I explain every concept clearly and encourage students to understand the reasons behind each exercise. Practical demonstrations, listening activities, and regular feedback help students learn faster and retain knowledge more effectively.

Students explore different styles of music while developing creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and musical interpretation. This helps them become expressive performers who enjoy making music.

Besides piano, I also teach keyboard skills, music theory, rhythm training, ear training, performance preparation, sight reading, and music appreciation. These related subjects help students become complete and confident musicians.

My mission is to provide supportive, organized, and inspiring lessons that help students reach their goals, enjoy the learning process, and build a lifelong passion for piano and music.
