About Estella

With 16 years of Piano teaching experience, I have guided many students towards becoming confident and capable musicians. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals, providing personalised lessons that support their individual goals.

My teaching philosophy is based on communication, patience, and continuous growth. I believe every student can succeed when given the right support and encouragement.

My classes include scales, chords, rhythm exercises, sight reading, ear training, music theory, finger techniques, improvisation, and performance preparation. I focus on helping students develop strong fundamentals while enjoying the learning process.

Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard techniques and music reading. These skills help students build a strong musical foundation and improve their overall performance abilities.

I am dedicated to creating a positive and inspiring learning experience. Through personalised instruction and ongoing support, I help students achieve success and develop a lifelong love for music.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology combines communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and personalised instruction. I believe every student should enjoy learning piano while building strong technical skills and a deep understanding of music. My lessons are designed to suit each student's pace, interests, and goals.

Students begin by learning proper posture, hand position, rhythm, finger exercises, note reading, and music theory. As they improve, they continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive playing, and performance preparation.

I explain every lesson using simple English, practical demonstrations, and enjoyable exercises. Students are encouraged to participate actively, ask questions, and practise consistently. Regular feedback and progress tracking help them achieve steady improvement.

Students also learn music from various styles, including classical, pop, devotional, movie, and contemporary music. Creative activities such as improvisation and accompaniment help students develop confidence, expression, and versatility.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard skills, ear training, rhythm development, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, and beginner composition. These supporting subjects provide a complete musical education.

My mission is to create a friendly, motivating, and organised learning environment where students develop confidence, achieve their goals, and build a lifelong love for piano and music.
