About Natalie
Γειά σας! I am a Greek student currently studying in London. As well as the Thessaloniki University certificate for advanced spoken and written Greek as well as being qualified in the UK by the TSAT for my part-time tutoring (online and in person). I have also worked in translation as I am passionate about languages and how best to teach them as a bilingual.
I have tutoring experience with both children and adults at beginner and intermediate level, and I find that though Greek can be challenging to non-native speakers, an enthusiasm to learn overcomes any obstacles. I am happy and proud to help people learn the lyrical, musical language of Seferis and Kazantzakis and my latest pupil integrated a Greek school after dedicated lessons.
My tutoring can range from a brief guide to Greek for casual learners to more in depth study for those interested in exploring one of the world's oldest cultures.

I want my pupils to leave every lesson with something new they can apply in their life. I use a mixture of art, literary culture, history as well as structured language learning in my lessons. I have found this holistic approach to learning is much more effective in teaching for learning languages and retaining information, alongside systems such as Spaced Repetition Learning. It is important to remember that every pupil is unique and has their own interests and curiosities, and so this method can be tailored to best fit your style of learning.
