About Khadijah
I’m a passionate and approachable English tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students discover their confidence and potential. With nearly six years of tutoring experience and a PGCE in Secondary English from the University of Oxford, I combine strong subject knowledge with a friendly, supportive teaching style. I believe every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand their individual needs, build their confidence and make lessons engaging rather than overwhelming. My goal is not only to help students achieve strong grades, but to develop skills and confidence that stay with them beyond the classroom.

My lessons are personalised, engaging and focused on helping students build both confidence and exam skills. Each session begins with a clear learning objective, followed by structured explanations, discussion and guided practice. I break down challenging texts and concepts into manageable steps, while helping students develop stronger analytical, writing and exam techniques. We regularly review and improve written responses using targeted feedback, with lessons adapted to each student’s individual strengths, weaknesses and goals. My aim is to make English more accessible and enjoyable while helping every student make consistent progress towards their target grade.
