About Gavin
With 11+ years of experience teaching Spanish, I have guided approximately 150–200 students towards achieving confidence and strong communication skills. My teaching philosophy focuses on personalised learning because every student deserves lessons that reflect their individual strengths, interests, and learning pace.
My classes include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking through engaging conversations, interactive activities, cultural discussions, and practical exercises. I believe real-world communication is the best way to build lasting language skills.
I maintain a positive and encouraging classroom where students feel respected, motivated, and comfortable practising without fear of making mistakes. I provide constructive feedback, personalised study recommendations, and continuous encouragement that supports steady improvement.
One of my strongest qualities is creating flexible learning plans that adapt as students progress. I simplify grammar concepts, provide customised practice materials, and help learners develop confidence through practical communication.
