About Srah
With 5 years of teaching and performing experience, I am a dedicated violin tutor committed to helping students develop technical skill, musical expression, and confidence. I teach school and college students at all levels, from beginners learning foundational techniques to advanced learners preparing for recitals, exams, and competitions.
One of the highlights of my career has been guiding students from struggling with posture, technique, or stage confidence to performers capable of playing with technical skill, emotional depth, and expression. My teaching focuses on building strong technical foundations, including posture, finger placement, bowing technique, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also fostering creativity, musical interpretation, and expressive playing.
I integrate music theory, sight-reading, listening exercises, and performance practice to provide a holistic musical education. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style, creating a supportive, patient, and inspiring environment. Teaching violin allows me to instill confidence, nurture talent, and cultivate a lifelong love for music.

I teach violin using a methodology grounded in motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, designed to cultivate musicians who are technically skilled, expressive, and confident. Lessons are customized to each student’s abilities, goals, and learning style, combining structured practice with creative exploration, improvisation, and performance preparation.
Motivation drives engagement. I help students set achievable goals, track progress, and celebrate milestones, building perseverance, self-confidence, and enthusiasm for learning. Communication ensures lessons are interactive, collaborative, and supportive, allowing students to ask questions, share challenges, and explore ideas freely.
Creativity is central to my teaching. Improvisation, composition, and interpretation exercises allow students to develop their artistic voice and emotional connection to music. Integrity emphasizes disciplined, responsible practice and respect for learning, forming habits that encourage long-term success and growth.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and introductory piano, providing students with a complete and well-rounded musical foundation. This methodology ensures students progress technically, creatively, emotionally, and personally while cultivating a lifelong passion for music.
