About Sofia
I graduated with excellent marks from the Carducci classical high school in Milan. I spent six months in my fourth year of high school in the US where I graduated. At the moment I am a student in Political Science in English at Leiden University in the Netherlands. I have had previous experiences offering homework help in my high school in Mathematics, Greek, Latin, Science, Art, Italian and English. I also offered help with homework and repetitions of English (at all levels), Italian (at all levels), Sciences, History of Art both in Italy and in the USA and Holland.

I do not give importance only to children's learning but also to their passion for subjects and learning in general. I believe that teaching the importance that learning a subject and a language can have in the future is necessary, since I myself have seen the opportunities it offers. I find that the study of theory for every subject is of great importance but I aim at understanding the concepts rather than just memorizing. I believe that very useful teaching channels that stimulate long-term memory are also videos, films and, in the case of the English language, also music. I also give importance to understand which is the best method of study based on the student I meet. I am very dedicated to teaching and I make my students' success my own. I also always try to encourage my students by reassuring them and trying to keep their psychological sphere steady in what can be moments of great stress at school.
