About Blake
I am an enthusiastic French tutor with 7 years of experience working with college students. I enjoy helping students discover how interesting and useful the French language can be. My approach is simple, clear, and focused on building confidence.
I believe that learning a language should be practical and engaging. That is why I use conversation-based teaching methods, where students practise speaking from the very beginning. I include activities like role plays, real-life scenarios, and interactive exercises to make lessons lively and effective.
To make learning more modern and interesting, I use videos, audio lessons, and online tools. These resources help students improve their listening, speaking, and understanding skills. I also focus on pronunciation and fluency so that students can communicate clearly and confidently.
I take time to understand each student’s strengths and areas for improvement. Based on this, I create personalised lesson plans that help them achieve their goals, whether it is academic success or better communication.
I also provide regular feedback and support to keep students motivated. My aim is to create a positive learning experience where students feel confident, motivated, and excited to learn French.
