About Riana
Hello! My name is Riana, and I am a Biotechnology graduate currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences. I am passionate about helping students succeed in Mathematics, Algebra, Chemistry, and Physics by making challenging concepts easier to understand and apply.
My teaching experience includes working as a Teacher's Assistant at St. Jean-Marie Vianney Catholic School, where I supported students across multiple subjects and learning levels. This role allowed me to develop strong communication, patience, and adaptability skills while working with students both individually and in group settings. I learned how to explain concepts in different ways to ensure every student could learn effectively and confidently.
As a tutor, I believe that every student is capable of success when given the right guidance and support. I focus on creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges without fear of judgment. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to strengthen their confidence and problem-solving abilities.

As a tutor, my goal is to help students build confidence and develop a strong understanding of concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas or procedures. Drawing on my experience as a Teacher's Assistant and my background in Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences, I create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student's needs.
My teaching methodology focuses on breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps. I begin by assessing a student's current understanding and identifying areas that need improvement. Lessons include clear explanations, guided examples, interactive problem-solving, and opportunities for students to apply concepts independently.
