About Waqas
Assalamu Alaikum. My name is Waqas, and I am passionate about helping children develop a lifelong connection with the Quran. I believe that learning the Quran should be a positive, engaging, and meaningful experience that inspires both understanding and love for Allah's words.
I specialize in teaching children in a patient, friendly, and encouraging manner. My approach goes beyond recitation and Tajweed by helping students understand the lessons, values, and stories of the Quran and how they relate to everyday life. I strive to create a comfortable learning environment where children feel confident to ask questions, participate actively, and enjoy their lessons.
Whether your child is a complete beginner or already has experience with Quran reading, I adapt my teaching style to their age, level, and learning pace. My goal is to help every student grow in confidence, character, and appreciation for the Quran while building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

My goal is not only to teach children how to read the Quran correctly, but also to help them develop a genuine love for it. I teach Quran reading, Noorani Qaida, Tajweed, selected Surahs, and Islamic values in a friendly and encouraging environment.
My lessons are interactive and age-appropriate, using stories, discussion, reflection, and real-life examples to help children understand and relate Quranic teachings to their daily lives. I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, respected, and engaged.
Lessons are typically 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the student's age and level. I welcome beginners as well as children who wish to improve their recitation, understanding, and connection with the Quran. My focus is on building confidence, good character, and a lifelong relationship with the Book of Allah.

My rates include personalized one-to-one online lessons tailored to each student's age, ability, and learning goals. Every lesson is designed to be engaging, supportive, and focused on building both Quranic skills and a meaningful connection with the Quran.
Lessons may include Noorani Qaida, Quran reading, Tajweed, memorization support, selected Surahs, Quranic stories, and practical Islamic learning that helps children apply values in daily life. I also include Naat recitation training to help children develop love and respect for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in a beautiful and age-appropriate way.
Progress is adapted to each student's pace to ensure steady improvement and confidence. Trial lessons are available so parents can see how their child responds to my teaching approach before committing.
