About Maria
As an Educator, I offer a unique set of gifts to the students and families. Having an MFA and being a bilingual speaker, I have much to offer. Creativity is part of my life; being able to see the beauty and express with uniqueness every aspect of life. My appreciation of aesthetics conveys in discussions of multicultural and interdisciplinary topics. By allowing this ongoing source of creativity, knowledge, and deeper understanding strategies, the students can reach their full potential. I believe students learn best in a positive, multicultural and structured environment; they will experience the comfort of connecting with world-wide cultures while learning visual arts.

I use DBAE and Art Studio approaches, allowing time and space for them to achieve excellence. I want students to feel respected and appreciated, to support their individuality is essential. My role as an educator is to facilitate, convey, support and asses their processes. I plan time where I encourage curiosity and independence in the program while supervised. I understand they need to let out their unique artistic languages, so they can seek further and challenge themselves more. In my approach, sequences and predictability are management skills that are essential to build a sense of security, community, trust, individual and group dynamics.
