The needs and welfare of the individual learner is of central importance. Both duty and compassion informs my decisions. I engage in the holistic education of each child in my care and serve and educate all learners with equal dedication, delivering the curriculum so as to enable all learners to develop their skills, knowledge, values and attitudes in a changing environment. I believe there is no one size fits all approach to teaching and learning.
When teaching my students I plan and implement a variety of teaching methods to emphasize engaged learning, communication, literacy, numeracy, collaboration and problem solving through a range of technologies.
I base my classes on being positive, prepared, organized, clear, active, patient and fair.
I approach each topic by identifying the objectives I want my students to meet as part of the curriculum.
