About Isabel
I am a second-to-last-year student at Georgetown University studying International Relations and Technology. I am currently studying abroad for the semester in Sydney, Australia. Spanish is my mother tongue, and English has always been the language with which I have done all my academics. Thus, they are both languages I am equally fluent in and practice daily. My major requires a high level of written proficiency in both languages, which gives me a depth of knowledge in the grammar of both languages.
As a volunteer in Thailand and Laos, I taught in 2 different schools to kids aged 9-18. There, I discovered my passion for teaching and the joy it brought me to help someone understand and increase their knowledge. I am a patient person and understand there are different learning styles. As someone who has had to teach a classroom with different ages and learning styles, I have learned how to quickly identify the best and most fun for a student to learn.

Classes are adaptive to the student's level, age, and personal preferences. The courses offer grammar activities, helpful games, and conversational informal discussions. No prior materials are needed. Prior to the lessons, the students are notified of any platforms that can be used throughout the class. The teaching style of the lessons will be adaptive to the level of the student. Courses will be beneficial but also fun and lightweight. The goal is to learn as much as possible while having fun!!
