About Aaron
Hello! My Name is Aaron, I am an artist and art teacher originally from the US which is where my passion for art and teaching began. I've pursued these passions further while teaching abroad for the past 5 years. I have loved art since I could pick up a comic, but it was my teachers in school who really pushed and inspired me to be where I am today. I enjoy all forms of art making, but sway towards illustration, ceramics, and printmaking, though I am pushing myself to improve my digital skills. When I am not making art I love hiking, backpacking, camping, traveling… anything that gives me an excuse to be outside surrounded by nature.

I have taught a variety of subjects and age levels, but find myself most successful teaching Middle-High School students in anything and all things Visual Arts. I have a lot of experience tailoring lessons to student’s individual desires and passions for art making. I have lessons that encourage students to explore themselves and their relationship to more contemporary artists. All lessons are totally dependent on the student's material options, which can be anything from just a pencil and paper, to a fully stocked art studio. I am also an IB DP Certified Teacher for Visual Arts and have a lot of experience preparing students for art school through portfolio critiques.
