About Karan

I am a Hotel school graduate with more than 15 years of experience working in the 5 star category hotels in India and UK. The hotel chains I worked for are Grand Hyatt India, Marriott Manchester, Park Plaza London and few standalone restaurants in London. I specialize in Italian, Continental, Indian, Chinese and other International cuisines.

About the lesson

I will be doing Live cooking with Q&A session with my students. My idea is to give you complete understanding of the basics of cooking during the session. The classes are meant to be for all age groups who are passionate and have flair for cooking.

"I took a demo session from Chef Karan first I liked it and then did a 3 day cooking course. The food that he makes is delectable. He taught me Indian, Italian and few Thai dishes of my choice. It was very well explained by him and food came out to be very tasty.

I had a fantastic three-hour session at Chef Karan’s kitchen. I thought it might be awkward going to someone’s house, but Karan is extremely warm and welcoming. It felt like cooking with a friend. It was fun to customize the menu to our favorite flavors instead of a set agenda. As a learner I really appreciated learning the cooking methods around the Mediterranean. Definitely ask for her roasted red pepper dip and cottage cheese steaks recipes. We’d definitely love to come back to learn more.

He was incredibly skilled; the food was delicious and most importantly the process was fun and engaging for me and my wife. I walked away with my wife having a newfound love for Pasta (a dish she had previously rejected) and some great photos and memories. I would highly recommend Chef Karan to anyone and intend to visit him again.
