About Jill
As a reporter I’m proud of my International Federation of Journalists press credentials. This organization was founded in 1926 and is currently recognized in 130 countries and conflict zones, allowing me to work internationally.
As an editor I’ve published the work of the current Poet Laureate of the United States, Ada Limón, along with other luminary voices in contemporary American poetry— Robert Hass, Major Jackson, Camille Dungy, and others.
As a poet and artist my work has appeared in Barrow Street, Tupelo Press, the deYoung Museum, and elsewhere.

Whether we’re working together to write your first five paragraph essay, yet another book report, to polish your college admissions essays before sending them off with a good dose of hope, or on a longer-term project— like delving into contemporary literature, editing your poetry, and working together to place it for publication it’s important to me as a tutor that your voice is heard; because these are your sessions.
