About Abeer

I'm a professor assistant of Economics in the University in Egypt. I moved to Coventry, UK at the beginning of 2024. I had my international PhD of Economics from Valencia University in 2013. I love every moment I spend in teaching Economics and I know how to encourage my students to love and be motivated to learn Economics. I have taught different courses such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Public Finance, Money & banking, International Economics, and Principles of Economics.

About the lesson

Passion is the word that describes my teaching philosophy of economics, and my goal is always to help students to revive their motivation toward studying Economics..
At the beginning of any course, I give my students a roadmap including the course outlines and timetable of all lectures and assignments.
I use a variety of teaching methods according to the course I teach, including but not limited to:
• problem solving method where research problems can be selected by students themselves,
• discussion, which is an effective method that allows me sharing my knowledge with my students to facilitate their understanding to solve different economic issues,
• and applying economics analysis to issues that students find particularly relevant in life.

Besides, I always give my students the opportunity to express their feedback about my way of teaching to keep enhancing my method of teach regularly. I owe to bring a positive attitude, and high expectations to my classrooms every day.
However, in my opinion, the utmost important step for students to love and concentrate in my lectures is maintaining a good relationship with all of them regardless their level of study. This facilitates delivering the information to them.
