About Carter

With 11 years of experience teaching Piano, I have worked with students from different age groups and learning backgrounds. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals through lessons that are engaging, personalized, and easy to understand.

My teaching philosophy is based on patience, communication, and steady improvement. I believe learning Piano should be enjoyable as well as meaningful, and I encourage students to grow with confidence at every stage.

Students in my classes learn piano fundamentals, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills. I focus on building strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity.

Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard techniques and music reading. These complementary skills help students improve their musical understanding and become confident performers.

I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals through structured lessons and positive encouragement. My mission is to make every lesson productive, enjoyable, and inspiring.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is built on communication, creativity, flexibility, and mutual respect. I believe every student has the ability to learn piano when lessons are enjoyable, well-organized, and suited to their individual needs. I take time to understand each student's goals before preparing a learning plan that supports steady progress.

Lessons begin with the fundamentals, including proper posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and basic music theory. Once students become confident with these skills, they continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, sight reading, and expressive performance. Every lesson builds naturally on the previous one.

I use practical demonstrations, simple explanations, and interactive exercises to make learning easy and interesting. Students are encouraged to ask questions, solve musical challenges, and practice consistently. Regular feedback helps students improve while staying motivated.

Students explore different musical styles such as classical, pop, worship music, movie songs, and modern piano pieces. I also include improvisation and accompaniment exercises to encourage creativity and independent thinking.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, rhythm development, sight reading, performance preparation, music appreciation, and beginner composition. These additional subjects help students develop complete musical skills.

My goal is to help students become confident musicians who enjoy learning, performing, and expressing themselves through music.
