About Fatema
Hi, I'm Fatema! I'm an International Politics and Sociology graduate with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their academic goals in a supportive and confidence-building environment so they can understand and enjoy their subjects.
I tutor GCSE English Literature and Language and Citizenship as well as, GCSE and A Level Sociology, Religious Studies and Politics.
Whilst I am new to private tutoring, my academic experience has given me a strong understanding of these subjects, as well as the importance of effective revision, essay writing and exam technique.
I take a friendly, patient and personalised approach to learning. I understand that students learn in different ways, so I aim to explain difficult topics in a simple and approachable way, while creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions.
My goal is to help each student build their knowledge and confidence at their own pace, while giving them practical techniques they can use independently in their studies and exams.

I believe the best tutoring is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand their individual strengths, weaknesses, learning style and goals before tailoring each session to them.
My lessons are supportive, encouraging and interactive, creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions without feeling embarrassed or judged. I focus not only on helping students understand the content, but also on building their confidence and teaching them effective revision, essay-writing and exam techniques.
I want my students to leave each session feeling that they have genuinely learnt something, feel more confident in their abilities, and know exactly what they need to work on next. Whether a student is struggling with a particular topic or aiming for the highest possible grade, I adapt my approach to help them achieve their individual goals.
