About Maria Eva
Hi, I'm Eva! Learning is one of my passions. I grew up speaking Spanish and English both. I'm very curious, and my love for communication and travelling has pushed me to learn several languages (I also speak French and Portuguese) and to study different cultures. When I started my university courses, I discovered that many of my teammates didn't speak English, so I started helping them with some basic courses at first and then with more serious assignments. I started teaching both Spanish and English as second languages to pay for my studies at first, later I realised how much I enjoyed teaching, how fulfilling and rewarding it was to see my friends/students succeed in their endeavours! I've also been working as a freelancer interpreter for several years helping foreigners with their recreational activities and also with business meetings. I'm a goal-oriented, organised and proactive person. I'm enthusiastic, and I believe in doing things right and making the world better. Helping students learn and grow is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever experienced. The very nature of tuition means that I am constantly in dialogue with my students, which allows me to cultivate a unique relationship with them, one that proves extremely rewarding when they achieve the success they strive for.
