About Erika
I am an Early Childhood Educator specializing in reading development and parent coaching to foster their young reader's progress. I have worked with students and adults from PreK and those with special needs. I currently tutor online and in-person which allows the flexibility needed to homeschool my two children.

I base my classes largely on the interest of the students. I adapt lessons to their likes and interests while still incorporating the academia needed to function in the world. For example, I specialize in reading. I feel that opportunities for learning to read are all around us. My family's favorite place in the house is the kitchen! We'll bring reading practice to life and tie it with some kitchen science as we feed our tummies and our brains!
