About Darsh
I am a highly motivated investment banker with a strong passion for teaching and sharing knowledge with students pursuing careers in finance. As a University of Cambridge graduate, I achieved a First‑Class Honours dissertation and consistently deliver high‑quality work under pressure. I have developed strong time‑management and organisational skills through my investment banking role, balancing demanding workloads alongside my personal interests in music and sport. As university college football captain, I built leadership, communication and active‑listening skills, fostering an inclusive and high‑performing team. Teaching approach - I will provide clear, structured teaching focused on building strong fundamentals first then progressing to exam-style applications. Lessons will be tailored to the student's learning style and emphasis on exam style techniques alongside regular feedback to track progress and build confidence
Typical length of lesson - Lessons will usually be for 60 minutes with flexibility for longer sessions ahead of exams / intensive revision sessions. I will make sure to provide short breaks for those longer sessions so the student stays engaged
Qualifications / experience - University of Cambridge Economics graduate, achieving a First Class Honours dissertation. Currently an Investment Banker, bringing strong analytical skills and real-world context to Maths and Economics teaching. I have previously tutored siblings of close friends and neighbours, including providing tips on university applications and entrance exams tips
