About Séadhna
I sat my entire Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert examinations through Irish and earned a H1 in the Irish exam, among others. I’m a 1st year student in UL doing biological and chemical sciences. I’m joining the Irish society in the university to put the language forward. Gaeilge is incredibly important to me in my life and I believe schools are not teaching it to students correctly. I think a change has to be made in the education system as I took my Irish Leaving Cert in a completely different approach than the way other schools outside the Gaeltacht were taking it.

Classes would be held online to take the time wasted by travel away from the student. I would give tips and tricks that teachers who teach in schools through English are not teaching, that helped get me a H1. I can correct and grade your work. I may not be a qualified teacher, however, I can speak Gaeilge a lot better than many of the teachers I have met. I can help you with the oral, the próis, the novel, the essay, or grammar.
