About Isla
Hi! I am a dedicated, friendly and patient tutor, currently studying Geography (BA) at the university of Oxford.
Although I specialize in Geography, I can also teach English Literature and Biology to GCSE and A-Level standard. I achieved 3 A*s at A-Level, and at GCSE, I achieved 8 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s.
I am also happy to help students who wish to take on the Oxbridge admissions process- it can be quite a daunting and confusing journey, and I can support students with their personal statements and 1:1 mock interviews.
Being the eldest in a family of 6, I am excellent at communicating with students of all ages! My teaching style is interactive, as I aim to create an engaging and memorable discussion. I will adapt to my students individual needs to recommend revision techniques that will work for them.
