About Edra

I am an Accountant and Auditor and as such I am very comprehensive when it comes to teaching. Before Covid, I tutored a lot of children of all ages, not only in Italian but also in English. I am very patient, understanding and committed to a high standard of work. I have always excelled in school, in fact, when I was in High School, I did 2 years in one and was able to finish High School a year prior to my peers. I was particularly skilled in foreign languages and this is the reason I would like to bring you my method as I am sure it will help you as it helped me. I am not going to waste your time or money. In our first lesson, which will be free, I usually ask my student/s what their goals and needs are so you are welcome and even encouraged to tell your objectives and the way you prefer / want / the tutoring so that I can adapt my teaching and especially understand if my method can be helpful to you. I will let you know if I think I am not right for you. As I always say, your success is my success and I want this to be a win-win tutoring.

About the lesson

To learn a new language, you should have a good memory and/or a good method. I have developed both while learning 2 new languages at the same time. And yes, I improved memory as well, because there are techniques that boost our memory and I learned them from the Brain & Memory Coach, Jim Kwik. With my teaching/tutoring method, today, I can help many students on their journey through the material as I’ve already traveled the path and can give tips on how to improve and together, we will work towards your goals.
I have a master's degree in Economics, and I am part of the Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with a passion in teaching. I thoroughly plan my teaching and create long and short-term plans or one-time lessons depending on my student’s needs and objectives. A typical lesson would be divided into several parts: a quick revision, the main lesson, an application, and a summarization. After each lesson, I email any work we did together and if needed I provide students with additional material if they wish to review on their own.
