About Sara

Having lived, studied, and worked in international environments, I have seen firsthand how learning a language can open doors to new opportunities, friendships, and experiences. I know that speaking a foreign language can feel intimidating at first, which is why I aim to create a relaxed and supportive space where students can learn with confidence.

I decided to teach Italian because I genuinely enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds and sharing my language in a practical and engaging way. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student gain confidence, hold their first conversation in Italian, or achieve a personal goal they once thought was out of reach.

About the lesson

Ciao! I was born and raised in Italy and offer personalised Italian lessons for students of all levels in the UK and beyond.

My lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you want to improve your conversation skills, prepare for exams, travel confidently, or use Italian for work.
I believe language learning should be practical, enjoyable, and confidence-building. My teaching approach is highly conversational and tailored to your interests and goals. Lessons are typically 30 mins to 1 hour and are designed around engaging discussions on everyday topics, current affairs, books, films, culture, travel, and anything else that motivates you to speak naturally and confidently in Italian. I believe that language is best learned through meaningful communication rather than memorisation alone.

For students who prefer a more structured approach, I can also focus on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural insights, helping you develop fluency in a supportive and encouraging environment. On request, I can provide homework, exercises, reading materials, and task-based activities to support progress between lessons.
Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your Italian, I would be delighted to help you achieve your goals and discover the beauty of the Italian language and culture.
