About Paolo

Ciao! I'm Paolo, a native Italian speaker from Turin with more than 20 years of teaching experience.

Alongside teaching Italian, I am also a writer, musician, humanities tutor, and PhD researcher, giving me a deep appreciation for Italian language, literature, history, and culture.

I have helped students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners taking their first steps in Italian to GCSE and A-Level students preparing for examinations, as well as adults wishing to improve their conversational skills for travel, work, or personal enrichment.

My lessons combine language learning with cultural understanding, helping students develop confidence, fluency, and genuine enjoyment of the Italian language.

Whether you are preparing for GCSE or A-Level examinations, planning a trip to Italy, improving your conversational skills, or studying Italian literature, lessons are designed to help you make steady and enjoyable progress.

Lessons are available online, at my home studio, or at the student's home (travel surcharge may apply depending on distance).

Block Bookings
• Individual Lesson: £45
• 5-Lesson Package: £200 (to be used within 2 months)

Travel
I am happy to travel to students within approximately 5 miles of Ealing.
A small travel fee may apply depending on distance and travel time.

Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged at the full lesson rate.

First Lesson
The first lesson includes a discussion of your goals, experience, learning style, and a personalised learning plan.
