About Luana
I am a native Italian speaker, born and raised in Italy, with extensive experience teaching Italian to students of all ages and levels. I have taught in high schools, colleges, and also worked with adult learners, adapting my approach to meet each student’s needs and goals. Whether you are learning Italian for school, work, travel, or personal interest, I create lessons that are engaging, structured, and tailored to you. I hold a PhD in Chemistry and have several years of teaching experience across a variety of subjects, including Italian, both in Italy and abroad. When it comes to learning Italian, I believe grammar is essential—but it’s only one part of the journey. Language is also about culture, pronunciation, rhythm, and expression. In my lessons, we will explore not just how Italian works, but how it truly sounds and feels in real life. My goal is to guide you step by step, helping you build confidence and fluency while immersing you in the richness of the Italian language and culture.
