About Maria

I'm a public service interpreter student willing to help as many people as possible to learn Italian or improve their skills.
I love to teach Italian and would be happy to help you speak it easily and effectively.

Whether you're stuck at the basics, or at an advanced level, my lessons will be able to help you achieve your goals.

About the lesson

My teaching method revolves around the combination of both practical conversation set ups and theory oriented topics, for a better understanding of phrase construction. It's important to always find a balance between theory and practice to avoid the risk of a boring/inconclusive learning session.
The first lesson is free, and it is an opportunity to get to know you and set your goals, as well as to understand your level of Italian. Following the first lesson, I plan the following ones based on what you need and how you want to learn.
In each session there is always a basis of grammar and textual understanding, coupled with a conversational part.
I’m of the opinion that knowing a language is not only the ability to know how to read or write, but also the ability to speak that language.
