About Elisa
Ciao a tutti! I am Elisa, I am 21 and I am a native Italian speaker, born and raised in a small town next to Turin. I am currently living in Ireland, where I am studying for my undergraduate degree in political science. However, languages are my second passion, I have always loved learning them and recently I discovered a great interest in teaching them as well!
I have some experience with teaching Italian: when I was still in high school, I worked in a reception centre for migrants where I was assisting the Italian teacher in her lessons, I have taught semester-long courses to beginners at my university and I have been also giving private lessons for two years.

My lessons are suitable both for students who want to practice their Italian conversation skills and for those who prefer a more structured lesson with an emphasis on grammar and vocabulary. Suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners, I tailor each session to your specific needs. Beginners will start from the fundamentals, while more experienced students can focus on refining their skills, preparing for exams, or just having a casual chat on a variety of topics, such as work, school, travel, languages, hobbies, and anything happening in your life.
I am open to whatever you think would suit your needs best, so don't hesitate to shoot me a message so we can discuss a personalised lesson plan. If you let me take the lead, I'll incorporate a mix of grammar/vocabulary lessons and conversations depending on your level. I really like to put small cultural insights in my lessons, so expect me to recommend you a new Italian musician, author or director of my liking in our lessons!
