About Jenna

I completed my BA (Honours) at the University of Toronto in Philosophy and Visual Studies, followed by a MA in American Studies at Brown University. Since graduating, I have edited and advised graduate school applicants on their personal statements, writing samples, and letters of intent. Applications I have edited have helped students gained admittance to top-tier universities (Columbia, University of Edinburgh, etc.) I have worked for Studiosity as a Writing Advisor, and I recently completed a course in English Grammar through Ryerson University.

About the lesson

I specifically help university-level students with essays and university applications by proofreading, advising, and providing suggestions. WebCam sessions can be used to discuss the advice I have provided on your document itself. Not only will your piece of writing improve during our session, but you will also be better prepared to revise your own work with the general knowledge and tips I impart. Depending on the piece of work, I often help students with subsequent drafts in order to polish their writing to a high standard (especially for graduate school applications).

Please note: I specifically work with university-level students. Some exceptions will be made for high-achieving high school students.
