About Amritha
I have been teaching, coaching, and mentoring students for over 15 years, with a career that spans global education, leadership development, and high-performance coaching. I’ve personally coached 6,500+ young people worldwide in their communication and English skills, across Australia, India, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the United States. I support students who struggle with English as well as high-performing learners who crave deeper challenge, more refined writing, and sophisticated analytical skills. My students consistently experience fast, meaningful improvement — clearer writing, stronger argumentation, and greater confidence in both academic and real-world communication. Many of the students I work with are first-language English speakers enrolled in selective schools or advanced programs. I also have extensive experience supporting multilingual students, including those from Indian, Singaporean, Malaysian, Sri Lankan, Indonesian, Middle Eastern, and European backgrounds. My teaching practice is deeply inclusive, and I have supported students with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, and other learning differences with a calm, structured, and compassionate approach. While English is my core focus — including essay writing, textual analysis, comprehension, creative writing, and critical thinking — I also specialize in coaching writing across related subjects such as Economics, Business Studies, Politics, and Humanities. Many senior students also work with me to develop university-level writing skills, personal statements, and professional communication. Beyond tutoring, I have led global education programs and coached senior leaders at the United Nations, the World Bank, international governments, billion-dollar corporations, startups, and NGOs. I bring an Ivy League MBA from Columbia Business School, world-class communication expertise, and a certified high-performance coaching background — giving my students a rare combination of academic depth and coaching excellence. I take a personalized, confidence-building approach to tutoring. My classes focus on simplifying complex ideas, building strong essay structures, and helping students express their ideas clearly and creatively. I use a mix of guided analysis, step-by-step writing techniques, and targeted feedback so students improve quickly and feel supported throughout. Lessons generally run for 60 minutes, with options for extended sessions during exam season. I bring over 14 years of experience in coaching, communication, and education, an MBA, and a strong background in English and Humanities. I’ve trained more than 5,000 students worldwide, helping them build skills, confidence, and academic performance. My lessons are ideal for Years 9–12, especially HSC students who want stronger essays, clearer writing, or deeper understanding of their prescribed texts. Whether they’re aiming for Band 6 or simply trying to catch up, I create a safe, encouraging, structured space for them to grow.
