About Mary-Anne
I am a half-Japanese New Zealander currently living in Sydney. I grew up speaking Japanese so have native level understanding of the language and its pronunciation. I studied Japanese at high school and IT at university. I enjoy being creative and exploring different cultures.

I like to use real world examples and scenarios to teach vocabulary and grammar. There is some textbook work, but primarily I will be teaching real world applications of the language from my own knowledge and experience of the culture. This means when students go to Japan or speak with a native Japanese person, they can more easily communicate in a natural way.
