About Waseem
My name is Waseem Bassam, I am an Egyptian. I graduated from both Cairo and Nagoya Universities. I studied Japanese language and culture in Egypt at first and then I studied abroad in Japan at Nagoya University. I have passed the JLPT (N1) after learning Japanese for only 3 years, so I believe you can do better than I did, and that is why I decided to become a tutor. Learning Japanese gave me a purpose in life when I was still young. So I want you to experience a journey similar or even better than mine, and I would love to help you start your journey of learning Japanese.

During our lessons we can do a wide variety of activities. For student who are preparing for the JLPT we can use pdf formatted files to do as many exercises as possible, and for people who are just interested in the Japanese language, having lived in Japan and studied its culture and history I am sure I have a ton of knowledge I can pass to you. Our lesson can be anything between 20 to 60 mins. I have a history of tutoring online so I know how sometimes it can be frustrating and how long pauses can sometimes be awkward so you don't have to worry about any of that.
