I think the most important thing in learning a language is to communicate with native people. Also, have fun speaking that language you want to learn.
Example of my class style
1). have a conversation (Any topic is acceptable, from basic conversation to interview practice for any test).
2). Use the textbook you want to use, or I offer you the pdf.
So, my class would be conversation based, but we can use a textbook too!
