About Roshanak
I am a final year International Studies student at Macquarie University, majoring in Japanese Studies. I have been learning Japanese for close to 8 years now, and studied abroad in Japan last year to put my skills to the test.
In 2019 I had done Japanese beginners for the HSC, and personally experienced the state of Japanese tuition services available in Sydney firsthand. With my services I hope to make studying Japanese less stressful and more enjoyable for future HSC Japanese beginners students

Through my tutoring service, I intend to provide one-on-one support for students to navigate the HSC Japanese Beginners course.
- I will teach the content based directly off the HSC syllabus provided by NESA. Classes will be 1 hour per week, however in the instance students/parents ask for more sessions during a week I can offer those at discounted prices.
- I will help them build up their confidence to study and practice Japanese independently.
- I can provide resources such as a grammar structure template and lists of predicted speaking and writing topics students may encounter during their speaking, listening, reading and writing exams for the HSC. These resources I created allowed me to approach my own exams confidently and achieve a band 6.
- I will expose students to a variety of aspects of Japan’s history and culture, that way students will be able to apply their knowledge more naturally and respectfully.
