Qualifications: - Incoming student in a Master of Arts in Teaching Japanese program at Middlebury College in Vermont - JLPT (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test) N2 certified - University of Michigan–Ann Arbor graduate (Asian Studies, Japan focus) - Studied abroad in Hakodate, Hokkaido - JET Program alum (Assistant English Teacher in Gunma, Japan – 1 year) - Currently volunteer at multiple Japanese cultural events in Michigan - JLPT N3 exam proctor in Ann Arbor Why Choose Me: As a non-native Japanese speaker, I understand the challenges learners face and know effective ways to overcome them. I am patient, friendly, and experienced in tutoring and mentoring.
