About Jason

I want to teach because I love sharing the joy of music and theatre, helping students of all ages grow in confidence, skill, and creativity. Drawing on my extensive performance experience in musicals, ensembles, and school productions, as well as my work as Musical Director at Rare, I understand how to nurture talent and inspire students to reach their full potential. My lessons are creative, supportive, and accessible, combining technique, repertoire, and performance coaching, with a focus on making learning fun, rewarding, and empowering. Whether preparing for exams, auditions, or simply exploring their love of performing, I aim to guide students to enjoy every step of their musical and theatrical journey.

About the lesson

I’m Jason Martin, an experienced performer and musical theatre practitioner. I’ve performed in a variety of shows and roles, and I’ve worked with students of all ages, including as Musical Director at Rare, leading ensembles and productions. My approach to teaching is creative, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals. I combine technique, practical exercises, and performance coaching to build confidence, develop skills, and bring out each student’s unique voice. Lessons are fun, engaging, and focused on helping students grow as performers, whether preparing for auditions, exams, or simply exploring their love of music and theatre
