With 5 years of experience, I guide students through essential skills like chord transitions, pick control, strumming patterns, and fretboard knowledge. As a guitar tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar Emphasis, I strive to guide students through a complete and mindful learning journey. My teaching blends movement awareness through the Alexander Technique and mindful breathing to build comfort and control while playing. I believe that great technique begins with relaxation and presence.
Visual learners benefit from my use of diagrams and fretboard maps, which make complex patterns easy to understand and remember. I also incorporate auditory playbacks to train the ear and strengthen musical intuition. These tools together create a learning experience that is both structured and creative.
I help students overcome performance anxiety by using simple mindfulness and grounding techniques. Building confidence is as important as building calluses. Every lesson aims to nurture both technical precision and emotional expression.
