About Christopher
I am a jazz sax player who specializes in improvisation and small group and combo performance. I have lead big bands as lead alto, as well as Baritone sax. I can give comprehensive lessons on any sax of your choosing, and at any level.

I like to structure my lessons on a completely different level than others. I don't want to structure anything on "talent". There is no such thing as talent, in my opinion. It all comes down to the knowledge you possess, the practice time you've spent, and getting yourself out there, performing and trying your best. Even Charlie Parker, the best Musician of the 20th century had to spend nearly a year of absurd practice to truly understand the structure of jazz and his true sound. My goal is to set you on that path. I will take you throughb how music actually works, and how to practice it to gain true confidence.
Above all, I want to give you an environment to feel comfortable not knowng what you're doing, and wanting to ask me sincerley how to get better. It's okay to not know, and ill be there to help you learn.
