About Jack
Jazz trumpet player from OKC available to to teach lessons beginner-advanced levels for Jazz Harmony, Improvisation, Trumpet, sightreading, and classical training. Some of people I’ve had the honor and pleasure of playing with throughout my career include: Bob Mintzer, Paul Brewer, Vince Norman, Matt Stansberry and the Romance, Mingus Big Band, Edmond Jazz Orchestra, and many other local jazz musicians from Tulsa and OKC!

My teaching methodology is slightly different from the average band director/private lessons teacher. Instead of focusing purely on jazz harmony as a lot of teachers like to do, the concepts of rhythm, sight reading, style, and classical training application will all be applied.
