About Percy
I am Percy Mthimkhulu, a Johannesburg based 3D Artist and illustrator with an Honours degree in BA Digital Arts.
During my time at Wits I was able to gain knowledge from various principles within my degree. Theoretical frameworks such as: Digital Art Theory, Film Visual and Performance Art, Screen Studies & Media Studies, have largely influenced the manner in which I can fully maximize my skills within my field and those I teach.
I would like to think of myself as a critical thinker, fast learner and a person who adapts well to different circumstances. I consider myself to be extremely hardworking and consistent, especially in relation to everything that I commit myself to. I am resilient and determined to explore every aspect of finding the best way to teach my students

When I coached my teams, I tried to observe them from afar so as to evaluate their potential and to familiarize myself with their strengths and weaknesses. This way, once you are aware of the aforementioned, it becomes easier to take full advantage of the appropriate solution for that particular person while weaving in your own knowledge of the circumstance. I believe that people are different and they each operate differently but there is a common ground to work from that can be used and adapted according to the persons abilities.
