About Defin

I am an Indonesian graduate of International Business Management with a strong passion for music and foreign languages, particularly Korean and Japanese. I aspire to deepen my knowledge by studying in South Korea, immersing myself in the culture, and experiencing life alongside both native and international residents.

My teaching journey began with freelance online lessons, where I successfully taught Korean and Japanese to 70-80 students, both from Indonesia and abroad. These were personalized, one-on-one sessions tailored to each student's needs, rather than group classes.

This experience has inspired me to share my own native Indonesian language skills with you guys as international learners.

About the lesson

Begin your journey into the Indonesian language with a focus on practical speaking skills, followed by structured lessons in formal reading and writing. This course is designed to meet the needs of international learners, from complete beginners to those with basic proficiency, whether they are children or adults.

Each online session lasts for just 1 hour, with additional benefits of ongoing support and communication via chat. Dealing with my experience teaching foreign languages to both local and international learners, I am excited to also share the use of my native language and help international learners achieve their needs of living in Indonesia.

It has been a great start for Francis in deepening his knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia. With a background of living in the Netherlands, he already had some familiarity with the language. We've been able to hold fluent conversations and share stories directly in Indonesian. I look forward to continuing our discussions on more advanced vocabulary and detailed grammar, which I believe will help boost his confidence in both speaking and listening skills.

Sudah 14x pertemuan saya belajar dengan Defin. Hasilnya saya sekarang sudah bisa membaca Hangeul dan tau banyak grammar dan kosakata.
