About Lila
I am a passionate and experienced flute teacher with over 12 years of teaching experience across different age groups. I teach flute to school children, college students, and working professionals at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
My teaching method focuses on strong basics such as breathing exercises, embouchure control, tone development, and rhythm accuracy. Once students build confidence, I introduce advanced techniques and expressive elements. I also teach music theory, sight reading, scale practice, and ear training to strengthen overall musical understanding.
I believe consistent practice and proper guidance lead to steady progress. My unique skill is simplifying complex musical techniques into easy and manageable steps. My goal is to make flute learning disciplined, enjoyable, and rewarding for every student.

My flute teaching methodology combines progressive skill development with a supportive and adaptable teaching style. Guided by Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity, I personalise each lesson to help students reach their full potential.
I focus on strengthening breath control, refining embouchure technique, stabilising tone quality, improving articulation, and enhancing finger dexterity. Step-by-step exercises and consistent practice routines ensure measurable improvement.
Flexibility allows me to adjust lesson difficulty and repertoire selection according to student progress and performance objectives. Collaboration builds engagement by encouraging students to share goals and reflect on their achievements. Positivity helps maintain enthusiasm and discipline throughout the learning journey.
In addition to flute lessons, I provide training in music theory basics, rhythm studies, ear development, sight-reading, and performance preparation skills.
