About Gustavo

I am currently pursuing a second Masters Degree as a performer at The Juilliard School in NYC. I have taught in 3 public schools in the Boston area both music theory/reading and ensemble coachings. I have been through a Pedagogy training for music education in Cambridge MA, and I am very committed to my students learning.

About the lesson

I believe that learning is supposed to be a fun process of discovery. Educating—in the original sense of the word—means drawing something out of a student, and that stands on the belief that everyone already has something to offer, they just need help to develop it. Music theory can be very fun and quite enlightening. It helps one to find their unique voice when making music, and it is my passion to provide the guidance to achieve excellence on this subject.
