About Andreas
Hi, I'm Andreas. I trained at Juilliard as a tenor, and for 20 years I've taught singers across styles, from pop and musical theatre to opera.
Students of mine have reached the finals of The Voice of Greece, won scholarships at leading Conservatories, taken gold medals at international competitions and gone on to leading conservatoires and universities.
On stage I've sung more than 15 opera and musical theatre roles, in shows including Les Misérables and West Side Story, and performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Reviewers noticed the acting as well as the voice: The New York Times called me "a convincing performer", and Opera Pulse praised "a lyric voice of quality" and the "charm and affability" of my characterisation.
My own mentors were Plácido Domingo and Sherrill Milnes. I've taught voice at university level, and in Limassol, Cyprus, I run a training programme where young singers study musical theatre, classical singing and audition technique.
I believe good technique should make singing feel easier, not more complicated, so you can stop worrying about the notes and start telling the story.
Lessons are in English, Greek or French. Whatever you love to sing, I'd be glad to help you sing it better.

The technique I learned at Juilliard, applied to the songs you actually want to sing.
Who it's for: teenagers auditioning for school shows, youth theatre, drama school and musical theatre courses; singers preparing for competitions and TV talent-show auditions; and adults who want to sing with confidence, whether they've never had a lesson or are coming back to singing.
What we work on: breath control and stamina, singing in tune, a strong and even range with secure high notes, a healthy mix and belt, finding your own sound, phrasing and style for musical theatre and pop, character and storytelling, and confidence under pressure.
How lessons work: we start from the songs you want to sing and build the technique inside them, so you hear the difference in the same lesson. Often one small adjustment changes everything. Between lessons you practise exercises chosen for your voice.
Online: lessons run on Zoom. We use backing tracks, because live piano lags over video, and I'll show you the Zoom setting that keeps your voice sounding natural. I teach from Cyprus, two hours ahead of UK time. Parents of students under 18 are welcome to join any lesson.
Auditions: we choose songs that show you at your best, prepare your 16- and 32-bar cuts in the style the panel expects, and polish your self-tapes. Structured programmes for drama school and conservatoire applicants are priced separately from lessons.
Your free first session (30 minutes): sing me a song you love, and I'll show you the one change that will make the biggest difference.
When you message, tell me what you love to sing and what you're working towards. I reply within 24 hours.

I’ve been having singing lessons with Andreas and I honestly couldn’t recommend him enough. He makes you feel comfortable from the very first lesson and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand.
What I really like is that he doesn’t use the same approach with everyone. He listens carefully to your voice, understands what you need to work on and adapts the lesson around you. I’ve already noticed a big improvement in my technique, confidence and overall understanding of my voice.
He is patient, encouraging, very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about your progress. Every lesson feels productive but also enjoyable. I’m very happy I found him and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great singing teacher. An exceptionally talented opera singer and a wonderful teacher. He combines impressive professional knowledge with patience, kindness, and a genuine passion for music. He explains vocal techniques clearly, builds confidence, and adapts each lesson to the individual needs of the student. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone wishing to improve their singing, whether they are a complete beginner or an experienced vocalist.
