About SHAKIBA
I am a junior electrical engineering student at The University of Utah with extensive experience teaching and mentoring youth of all ages. I have also conducted years of research exploring innovative therapies for treatment-resistant mood disorders, integrating engineering and medicine. After graduation, I plan to work in the industry before returning to academia to pursue a PhD in electrical engineering. Helping others learn and become confident in their abilities is incredibly rewarding. I want to inspire and empower students, showing them that with the right guidance and support, they can overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. By fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment, I aim to build their confidence and instill a lifelong love for learning.
