About Nelisiwe

My name is Nelisiwe Juliet Mokoena. I hold an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg and currently work as a Junior Process Engineer in the refining industry. My academic background includes a strong focus on Process Design, Environmental Engineering, and Biochemical Engineering, which I apply daily in my professional role.

I chose to become a tutor because I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential. I believe in developing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of core subjects like Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physical Sciences. These subjects are essential for many careers and I find fulfillment in supporting learners to succeed in them — whether they're in high school or pursuing technical studies at university.

Tutoring also allows me to grow personally and professionally, sharpening my communication skills while giving back to the academic community that shaped me.

About the lesson
